Sure, its marketed well, but more than that students have known the mystery of its history.
Ready To(2) Migrate was first set up in Sydney in 2011 by a team of Nepalese enthusiasts.
Was it purely for profits?
One can't deny profit motive, but R2M was established because the team had observed the difficulties faced by Nepalese students residing in Australia after their visa had expired.
Imagine yourself in Australia. You studied hard for 4 damn years and you cannot stay and work in Australia. The industry you studied for 4 hard years will not give you any exposures to any practicalities because your visa states otherwise.
Feels sad, doesn't it?
The team researched on Visa proceedings and came up with R2M to facilitate on-shore visa handling, so that abroad students could have exposures to Australian industry and economy after completion of study.
Sooner, the team started PR processes to help reward Nepalese students with their hard work abroad.
The PR process is not to keep Nepalese in Australia permanently. It is to keep them long enough so that they can learn international standards and face international economy and ultimately return back to Nepal to support development.
After 6 successful years, R2M is now a helping hand for students in Australia.
To expand its presence among students and extend a needful hand, R2M finally decided to set up its office in Kathmandu in 2017, now focusing on prospective students in addition to current abroad students.
R2M, is now open and running in Kathmandu since 2017. The team in Nepal is young and determined with a hint of great counselling experience up their sleeves.
R2M, now is not about sending students to Australia. R2M is about sending potential manpower to Australia to get internationally standardized education and industry experience so that they can re
turn after 5-10 years, to be a contributory to home country's development.
R2M Nepal's sole aim is to get potential manpower trained abroad and get them to return back. R2M believes, if a skilled manpower could come back and generate employment for 20 potentially skilled manpower here in Nepal, economy is deemed to go on a boom.
R2M's consultancy services is also geared towards social responsibility besides just profit motive.
R2M sees a country with extensive employment opportunities and skilled manpower in near future.
